Shipping (Delivery & Pickup)

Where we deliver

  • We deliver fresh baked goods and cakes across Sydney metro / list suburbs or link to postcode checker.

  • Outside the zone? Email grainbudssweets@gmail.com before ordering.

Delivery windows

  • Choose your delivery date and we’ll deliver within a 48 hours.

  • Same-day (limited items/suburbs): order by [10:00am].

  • Our drivers can’t guarantee exact times during peak days (Fri–Sun and special occasions).

Fees

  • Delivery fees are calculated at checkout by postcode.

Perishable handling (very important)

  • Cakes and pastries are perishable. Please refrigerate or follow the storage card on arrival.

  • In hot weather, we strongly recommend someone is home to receive the order.

  • If you choose Authority to Leave (ATL) or no one is available, we may leave it in the safest shaded spot; risk and condition pass to you at that point.

If no one is home / failed delivery

  • We’ll call/SMS on arrival. If we can’t access or there’s no safe ATL spot, a redelivery/return fee may apply.

  • Due to food safety, some items can’t be redelivered after extended time out of refrigeration.

Click & Collect

  • Pick up from 69 Beaconsfield St, Silverwater NSW 2128 during 8:30am - 16:00, Monday to Sunday. Bring your order number.

  • Please check your order at the counter before leaving.

Transport tips (pickup & after delivery)

  • Keep cakes flat (car boot/floor), turn on air-con, avoid seats/angled surfaces.

  • Tiered/tall cakes: lift from the base board (two people recommended).

  • Drive slowly, avoid sudden stops, and refrigerate on arrival unless serving immediately.

Allergens

  • Our kitchen handles gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, soy, sesame. While care is taken, cross-contact may occur.

  • For strict allergies, contact us before ordering.

Special dates & peaks

  • Mother’s Day, Christmas, Lunar New Year, etc. book out early and windows may be broader. Please order ahead.

Damaged or missing items

  • Check your order on delivery/pickup and tell the driver or staff before accepting if something’s wrong.

  • If discovered later, email grainbudssweets@gmail.com within 24 hours with your order number and clear photos (product + packaging). We’ll help asap.

What we don’t deliver

  • No PO Boxes/Parcel Lockers.

  • Some delicate items (e.g., whipped-cream cakes in extreme heat) may be marked pickup-only for quality and safety.

Changes & cut-off

  • Address/date changes are possible before dispatch only. Once out for delivery, changes aren’t possible and fees may apply.

  • For event-time orders, please allow a buffer—couriers can be affected by weather/traffic.
