Terms of Use — Grainbuds Sweets

Effective date: 12/10/2025

Welcome to Grainbuds Sweets (“we”, “us”). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these simple terms.

1) Using our site

  • You must be 18+ to purchase.

  • Keep your account details safe. We may cancel orders or limit purchases if needed (e.g., suspected fraud).

2) Products & photos

  • All items are handmade; colour, size and décor may vary from photos.

  • Availability can change. If we can’t supply an item, we’ll refund that item.

3) Prices & payment

  • Prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable.

  • Pay via the options shown at checkout. If we spot a pricing error, we’ll contact you to cancel or confirm.

4) Delivery & pickup

  • We do our best to meet your chosen time window; delays (traffic/weather) can happen.

  • If you choose Authority to Leave or no one is home, risk passes once delivered.

  • Bring proof of purchase for pickup. Uncollected perishable orders may be disposed of (no refund).

5) Allergens & storage

  • Our kitchen handles common allergens (gluten, egg, dairy, nuts, soy, sesame). Cross-contact may occur.

  • Follow any storage/serving advice. Perishables are best enjoyed the day received.

6) Cancellations, returns & refunds (summary)

Standard (non-custom) orders:

  • 48+ hours’ written notice: Full refund to original payment method.

  • 48–24 hours’ notice: Store credit for the full amount.

  • Less than 24 hours: No refund or credit.

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable once the order is out for delivery / day of delivery.

Custom/special orders:

  • Deposits may be non-refundable. Changes/cancellations have stricter cut-offs (see your quote/invoice).

On delivery/pickup:

  • Please check your order before accepting. Tell the driver or staff immediately if something’s wrong.

  • After acceptance, we’re not responsible for damage or storage issues.

  • If you discover an issue later, contact us within 24 hours with photos and your order number.

7) Promotions & gift cards

  • Promo codes must be applied at checkout and may end anytime.

  • Gift cards are not redeemable for cash unless required by law.

8) Content & IP

  • Site content and logos belong to Grainbuds. Don’t copy or reuse without permission.

  • Reviews/photos you share may be used in our marketing.

9) Liability

  • To the extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss (e.g., event costs).

  • Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law remain.

10) Privacy

  • We handle your data as described in our [Privacy Policy].

11) Governing law

  • These terms are governed by New South Wales, Australia.
